Albert Jose McKinnon, Senior Pastor

Pastor Al J. McKinnon was born to his loving parents McKinley and Henrietta McKinnon in Brooklyn New York. He assumed the role of a leader in the home at a very early age. After he finished high school, he was given a great opportunity to go away to college receiving various scholarships and he decided to attend ‘The Ohio State’ on a Basketball and Academic Scholarship, but he later transferred to Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.

He was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Army. He served in Airborne and Ranger Units and also various staff positions both in the in the US and overseas.  Following the military, he began to work for aerospace and commercial industries. He currently holds the position as a Senior Veteran Case Manager with the Coalition for the Homeless, and provides services as a Human Resource consultant. He has become well known in the community and he spends a great deal of time working with youth and the Homeless assisting in help find jobs and receiving their benefits. He spends most of his time functioning in training and development, and human resources related programs and Outreach Ministries.

He has been married to the love of his life Pamela (Brown) McKinnon, his college sweetheart, for over 36 years to whom he loves with an overwhelming passion. His greatest enjoyment can be found in his unity with the fellow saints and most of all his relationship with his blessed family. His daughters, Monique and Danielle, both work in Education. His son, Andre, serves in the United States Marine Corp. 2nd Marines Expedition Group and is currently deployed in Japan. He enjoys spending time with his (7) beautiful grandchildren.

He has received a number of military awards, degrees and certifications; however, his greatest achievement is knowing he is a Born Again Christian and that is more than any other great accomplishment he could or would Ever Claim. Pastor McKinnon is dedicated to preaching the word of God In and out of season. Understanding that only what you do for Christ will last, therefore let the work and service I've done speak for me as it is the least I can do for the Savior who gave me so much.

To God be the Glory!
